Kindness Stories of the Week 2
KINDNESS STORIES OF THE WEEK
This is definitely one of my favorite blog posts to write. To research the web and find some great stories of those selflessly helping others - it just brings a warm feeling to my heart.
THE 'BAG LADIES'
Our first story for the week is about the "Bag Ladies" from Tennessee. These ladies are crocheting plastic bags (like the ones you can get at grocery stores) to make sleeping mats for the homeless. So far, they have used 52,000 bags to make 88 mats! Check out this video!
10 YEAR OLD BOY GROWS HAIR FOR 2 YEARS FOR CANCER PATIENTS
Kind hearts come in all sizes. This story is about a 10-year-old boy who grew his hair out for 2 years so he can donate it to a cancer patient. He was inspired to grow hsi hair out after watching a show with his mom about a little girl with cancer. The story is a good reminder of the amazing gift children have to be compassionate and caring.
Please share with us some great kindness stories that we can post on our blog!
