Giving Artfully Kids is partnering up with Belmont Village Senior Center for a fun and meaningful weeklong camp. Have your child join us for a week-long summer camp where children will working along Belmont Village seniors where they be exploring their creative side all the while helping some great causes and spreading kindness to the community!
Giving Artfully Kids is a program that encourages and inspires children to spread kindness and help others through spreading kindness and helping others. We believe that the process of creating an item is a valuable to tool to teach children about giving and helping others.

During our summer camp session, we will spend each day exploring a social issue and then creating an item to give to an organization. It is our goal to inspire children to continue to give to others.
Example of past projects include:
Dog and Cat Toys for local Animal Shelters
Letters and gifts for servicemen abroad
Yarn Hearts & Kindness Rocks to spread kindness
Bookmarks for the library
Random Acts of Kindness for the Community
Fleece blankets for local children hospitals
Blessing Bags for those in need
Please have children bring their own snack and water bottles.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT OUR CHILDREN TO LEARN IN A GIVING ARTFULLY KIDS CLASS?
We will typically start with an opener to help introduce the topic for the day and then have a craft that reinforces that principle. We will also end with a reflection of what they learned and hopefully, the children will bring home what they learned to share with their parents.
